2025 Fall Recreation

Goochland United Soccer Association or "GUSA" is a recreational soccer program in Goochland County, Virginia. GUSA is sanctioned through the Virginia Youth Soccer Association and USYS.

Through our programs, children will learn about the game of soccer, compete at the recreational level, and develop lasting relationships that go beyond the game. Our program is focused on fun, respect, and competitive spirit.

A soccer year begins with the fall and ends after the last games in the spring during the month of June. Players are placed in age specific divisions based on birth date (August 1 - July 31). Some age groups may be combined due to lower participation numbers.

There are (3) gender designations for teams...BOYS, GIRLS and COED. Players will "age up" in the fall of each year and remain in their respective age group for an entire soccer year; Fall followed by Spring.

Players may be allowed to play up (1) age group above their correct age group pending Board approval; players may NOT play down in an age group below their correct age group.

We are excited to announce that registration fees for the Fall 2025 Season have been reduced to $99.00 per player. Tell your friends!

Available Programs and Age Groups:

-U4, U5 and U6 programs are managed through the Goochland YMCA.

-U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, and U14 players enroll and play through GUSA.

Uniforms and Equipment:

For the Fall 2025 Season, all GUSA players will receive new home and away game jerseys, a pair of red socks, and a pair of black socks. These uniform items will be provided by GUSA at no additional cost. Our uniforms are being sponsored by Sparkle Pediatric Dentistry.

All players will need to wear black shorts, cleats, and appropriately sized shin guards. GUSA will provide U8 players with a size 3 soccer ball. U9 - U12 players will need to provide their own size 4 soccer ball. U14 players will need to provide their own size 5 soccer ball. We recommend shopping for these items during our special discount weekend at Dick's Sporting Goods in Short Pump. Additional information and coupons will be provided before the start of the season. Starting in Fall 2025, you will also be able to purchase fan wear via our partnership with Soccer.com.
