Dear GUSA families,
The health and safety of our GUSA families and our community is important to us, therefore GUSA is suspending practices and games through at least March 29 due to the COVID-19 coronavirus. We will provide updates to this date as needed. While we don't know when it will be recommended to resume closer social interaction, we will do our best to work with our partner clubs and to hold games and practices this season even if we need to extend the season beyond the normal dates.
We also encourage you and your children to get outside in your yards and kick the soccer ball. In a previous message, we communicated that Leakes Mill Park was closed through Tuesday, March 17. This was incorrect, only the indoor Park and Rec facilities are closed. We recommend following the current advice to avoid groups however, Leakes Mill Park is open with lots of space and you may utilize the fields and goals with your family if you wish.
