2022-23 GUSA RECREATIONAL SOCCER

FALL 2022 PROGRAMS UPDATE:

  • Upper division (U9/10/11/12/14) teams will play in the Strikers rec league.  We do plan to have some home games at Leakes Mill for all teams.
  • U8 teams will play other teams within GUSA

  • Planned schedule for U9/10/11/12/14 - Practice starts the week of August  29. We expect the first league game to be September 10th, and the last league game October 29 with the Cap Fall Classic tournament Nov 5-6. There will be no extra cost for the tournament for the spring season since the regular season is shorter than the fall season.

  • Planned schedule for U8 - Practice starts the week of September 6th with the first game September 10th, no game April October 8th and the last game October 29th.

  • We have changed to less expensive Adidas jerseys for uniforms. The jerseys should cost between $20 and $23 each through the uniform store. Uniforms from previous season may continue to be used. U8 registrants will still receive jerseys as part of their registration.  Premier Soccer  anticipates they will be able to fill orders for the spring season but it would help them anticipate stock needs if the orders are placed as early as possible.  The GUSA uniform store (upper division) will remain open over the offseason and if you will need new uniform pieces for the spring, please order them as early as possible.

  • Please sign up for field closure notifications through the Goochland Parks and Rec Activnet system.
