Welcome to GUSA!!!...

  • Spring 2021 - we are planning to have GUSA season as long as Virginia remains in phase 3 or greater. Changes from a typical season will include required and recommended actions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please see our COVID-19 Information page for updates. If the current provisions of executive order 72 remain in effect when the season starts, all spectators will be required to wear masks and there will be a limit of two spectators per player.
  • The plan is to have all upper division (U9/10/11/12/14) teams play in the Strikers rec league once it starts on April 17.  We do plan to have some home games at Leakes Mill for all teams this spring.  We will schedule scrimmages with other GUSA teams or other clubs for March 27.
  • While we prefer players to stay in their birth year based age group, because we are playing the Strikers league we do have more flexibility with age groupings than our registration system displays.  Please email with any division change requests.
  • Refund policy for Spring 2021: If the season is canceled due to a COVID related shutdown before the first week of scheduled games, 100% of the registration fee minus the $6.99 in processing fees can be refunded.  If the season is canceled after the second week of scheduled games, 50% of the registration fee minus the $6.99 in processing fees can be refunded. If the season is canceled after the fourth week of scheduled games, no refunds can be given. There may be an option to receive credit toward a future season in lieu of a refund.

  • Planned schedule for U10/12/14 - Practice starts week of March 15, possible scrimmage March 27, spring break April 2-11 (practices possible but no games), first league game April 17, last league game May 22. no games May 29, Ultimate Cup or Sun Cup tournament June 5-6.  The tournament is included in the registration cost.

  • Planned schedule for U8 - Practice starts week of March 29, first game April 3 or 10, last game May 22
